About
My name should be obvious at this point so I’ll skip it, I am relatively new to programming and software development, taking a real interest in front-end web development or more specifically; JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, and XML/XSLT. I am a very recent graduate of Georgian College currently residing in Barrie, Ontario, Canada and in case your wondering hockey is my religion and I attend Church every Saturday night at 7 PM (known around here as Hockey Night in Canada).
What’s funny is that if you were to ask me what is my favourite thing about JavaScript, I would tell you probably the same thing many people will say is the reason they hate it; the lack of native support, browser inconsistencies, and well IE. however if it wasn’t for these downfalls, how strong would the open source community be for front-end web development? It is the perfect environment for programmers who thrive on their know how but more importantly their creativity.
One of the central purposes to this blog is to become a platform for various open source projects I have undertaken. I will be making contributions on a regular basis, so check back regularly.
